More people need to vote as it's looking like some tiebreaker votes for second and third might end up happening.

Hateful Eight and Inside Out were obvious.
Was tough to pick between 99 Homes and It Follows....went with It Follows.

Locking the poll unless anyone objects.

The 2015 winners are: Inside Out, The Hateful Eight, and The Revenant in that order.

I'm very good with this.  This board impressed me today.

Yeah, The Revenant and Inside Out are both in my top five for the year. I still need to check out Hateful Eight though.

Inside Out is my favorite film of the year, so I'm happy. Still, anyone here who hasn't seen Brooklyn yet should make it a priority. 9/10 film.

The more I watch Hateful Eight, the more I love it.  One of my favourite Tarantinos, if not my favourite.  Definitely check it out.

2015 was just a great year for animated films.

I feel like we should have a final poll with just those three that has people rank them to determine which film places first, second, and third.

I suppose we could. Depends on how popular the idea is with everyone else.

Edit: Then again, the votes are all in descending order for the picks so I think it's already indicated the order the films are preferred in.

Hateful Eight is one of the movies I use to determine whether I should listen to someone's opinion about film; if the person thinks that movie was boring, I know to mostly ignore them.

I think the votes are in and we move on. There was no tie. We don't really need another series of votes at this point imo.

Funny, I use the exact same metric but with Alien.

Genuinely have no idea how someone could confuse the pure tension in those two films with dragged out boredom. The Hateful Eight has Tarantino's snappy dialogue to keep your attention and Alien drips with atmosphere to immerse you into the world.

The thing for me is that choosing 3 out of 10 provides no way for someone to indicate what their actual favorite movie of the year was. Idk, it might just be me but I like having a final round of voting that feels definite.
