Your argument is completely retarded, but answering it would only feed that ego of yours.  I recognize that you've already made up your mind on this and since you're so stagnant about your opinion, trying to reason with you would be like trying to get John to fap.  Like I said, the price gap is closing and you're using outliers to persuade your argument.  I could go to Walmart's bargin bin right now, find 4 Blu Rays and spend only $25, which I know because I have done it.  Your $20 Blu Rays  are Marvel films or new releases, which will drop in price pretty swiftly (the new release, not Marvel, which takes a while, but considering you hate them, might as well take Marvel out of the equation).  My Spider-Man 3 Blu Ray?  $6 bargain bin.  So of course, you're just doing nothing but acting to stroke your ego.  You're like one of those kids who kept a Sony Walkman when everyone was getting an iPod.

Plus do the math with my 4 Blu Ray example.  You bought two inferior goods for 15.  I bought 4 for 25.  I actually spent less than you did on a price to product ratio (and considering one of those Blus was Underworld, I have bought even better products than your American Psycho and Into the Wild).

Bitch.

Ah, I see. You shop at Wal-Mart. I don't even have one of those in my county. I'm happy to pay a little extra for the pleasure of not having to shop at America's freak show. Anyway, I'll just leave you with this: If John Tyler can drop $35 on a GI Joe 2 Blu-Ray (over a year after it came out), I'm still not convinced that Blu-Ray is anywhere close to being as cheap as DVD. Oh, and the DVD total was $11. So... yeah.

you're using an outdated model from an outlier again.  The market has changed.  New release.  And shopping new releases at a family video would be ideal, however, those no longer exist in my area and I don't want to move to some backwater ass town for one.  Hence, the market here is reduced to Walmart or any other big retailer.  And believe it or not, Walmart tends to have a fantastic set of electronics.  From the newest flat screen to their latest in projectors, they have it all.

And also, he bought that from Best Buy.  Everything at Best Buy is expensive.

Blu-ray > DVD

We have a Frank.

Got the first five volumes of IDW's Transformers comics hardcover collection.

Also got Bone: Coda.

Good reads all around.

Looking into getting Best Buy's comic/DVD/Blu-ray combo pack for The Dark Knight Returns at some point.

Nice big summer paychecks have given rise to some impulse eBay purchases recently:

The Revenant on blu-ray

Finding Nemo on blu-ray

Titanic on blu-ray

King Kong (2005) on blu-ray steelbook

The Nutty Professor (1996) on Universal Studios 100th anniversary blu-ray

Richard III (1955) on Criterion Collection blu-ray

When it comes to blue-ray vs DVD, I just take when I can get. Not gonna be picky about it.

I will say that Walmart is the dumping ground of humanity. I only go into my local one if I feel like messing with people. Talking about the greatness that is Bernie Sanders in the gun alley has become a bit of a hobby of mine.

Picked up The Counselor in a blu-ray bargain bin at Wal-Mart. It could use a rewatch.

That's actually a lie. I never bought G.I. Joe: Retaliation on Blu-ray. I have the DVD (which only includes the theatrical version).

Okay... this is the most baffling thing I've read on this site since Jed's Dunkin Donuts getaway.

Yeah, I just chose not to say anything to it. Closed my laptop and took a shower instead.

Didn't we establish that that was one of his false stories?

Getting Conjuring 2 and Godzilla 1984 tomorrow from Amazon.

I particularly excited for Godzilla, because it's one of the few I haven't seen.

Bought the new Jungle Book and Unstoppable on blu-ray. The latter is overdue for a rewatch.

I think I just short-circuited... I don't know whether to make a Blu-Ray joke, a Wal-Mart joke, or a BVS-sucks-donkey-nutsacks joke...

Pre-ordered the Blus for The Thing: Collector's Edition and Hideo Nakata's Dark Water.

Also, in the recent weeks, I got: Excision, Saw, Cabin Fever, Army of Darkness: Collectors Edition, Warcraft, Captain America: Civil War, and Dawn of the Dead '04.

Who would wanna buy that on Blu-Ray?  Must've been why the price was so low.
