So I was ah... watching The 3rd Man and right when Holly Martin meets with ah Calloway, two seconds of The Jerry Springer Show ah flashed across the screen. I suppose that's the one ah disadvantage of buying VHS tapes is that ah sometimes people tape shows over them.

I think the people who did the VHS transfer just thought it added to the quality.

Jerry Springer theme song > Third Man score

Jerry Springer theme song > Third Man score

The comment was predictable but still mistaken.

I don't think that ah The Third Man score was very good but it ah... didn't hurt the viewing experience in any ah significant way.

It actually distracted me from multiple scenes where the score was dominating over the dialogue and 1) I couldn't focus on what they were saying and 2) it took me out of any suspense that might have been building.

Tarantino still buys VHS. He apparently bought out a closing video store's entire supply.

I remember reading that he refuses to use Netflix, and records all of his movies onto VHS tapes. I like Tarantino's movies, but his self-indulgence on stuff like that is obnoxious.
