Since all the video stores near me have closed, the only places I can look for the movies I want to see are Barnes and Noble (They have the AFI 100, and they apparently have Seventh Seal. I'm going to stop by there soon since I have a 20% purchase discount gift card.) and antique stores, where I got stuff like Casablanca and The Silence of the Lambs.

Wait until Barnes and Noble has their July Criterion sale to get The Seventh Seal. Even with your discount, you'll still pay a decent amount when they're regular priced.

Is Criterion just for Blu-Ray? I don't have that...

Nah, all of them either have a separate DVD release or they come dual packaged with Blu + DVD.

You'd get it around $8 cheaper by waiting, so I'd advise using your certificate on something else because you'll pay around 15 when the sale hits, 23 right now. But if you want to get it now, by all means. I often pay more as opposed to waiting for the best deal.

My mom seemed fine with me hypothetically buying it, and my Spanish teacher recommended I see it as well. I'll definitely try to see it.
