I've considered reading John Green's "Paper Towns" in anticipation of the movie (which I'm surprisingly looking forward to), but I'm just too lazy to go to the library anymore...

Finished Under the Skin a while back. It's a great book. Very different from the movie. The writing is very strong and it has a really nice flow to it. What's really great is how Faber gets into the mind of the characters, not just the lead character but also her victims. It's more horrifying than the movie, and goes into some gruesome detail about what happens to the hapless hitchhikers she picks up. I don't know whether I liked it more or less than the movie- The movie successfully captured the novel's essence, but it's a very different experience.

I'd like to read that some day as well. I loved the movie, and the book sounds like a very interesting experience as well.

Gross. So glad I don't have an English class to worry about that stuff in (although I enjoyed Catcher in the Rye when I had to read that).

Hmm, I meant to read that one. East of Eden is a very good movie too.
