Yeah, I started reading during my last year summer vacations, and I somehow stopped midtrough, still perplexed by the thematics of that book, though

Finally started reading A Game of Thrones again. I'm determined to finish it this time, hopefully within a reasonable amount of time.

A couple of months ago I started to read one chapter of ASOIAF every day and now I'm a few chapters into A Storm of Swords. I just love these books so much...

That's what I'm hoping to do. At least one chapter a day and I think I'll make at least decent progress.

Started Around the World in 80 Days since the Honors English teachers at my school give us summer homework. I'm only a couple chapters in. It's all right so far.

Around the World in 80 Days was reasonably entertaining albeit nearly too reliant on plot conveniences. I'd probably enjoy it more if I was reading it recreationally.

Now to get on with the paper...

Checked out a Sherlock Holmes anthology from the library. Always wanted to read these stories. It's pretty good so far; well-written and concise.

Picked up a Batman: Year One hardcover.

Comes with the movie and everything.

Should make for a nice two-to-three hours.

Yeah, they're surprisingly fresh and snappy for being 120 years old.

Holy shit, the rare non-snarky Catbus comment. And it's directed at me! Don't blow this, Diego. Uh... uh... penguins have an organ above their eyes called the supraorbital gland that filters salt out of their bloodstream.

Did I do good?

Well, I've just finished reading (or "reading") Lovecraft's "The Nameless City" through the Silent Conversation. It's the same thing I've mentioned earlier in my challenge for Raynor. However, I don't really care if you can get the scores or not: just experiencing the idea of "interactive novel" done like this is pretty much insane. A pity Braden is currently away: he would definitely love this.

That actually sounds amazing. I love Lovecraft. Going to check this out later tonight when I get home.

The Dark Half 7/10

I really like ah stories about evil alternate selves and George Stark proved to be ah one of King's nastiest villains.
