Taking the AP US Gov exam today. Hopefully this works out.
This was pretty easy. Writing mightíve hurt me a bit but I think Iíll be alright. APUSH is tomorrow.
This was even easier. Multiple choice was a cake walk and my teacher had us fill out worksheets that proved expedient for short answer questions. Essays werenít too bad either though I mightíve written something closer to English essays than history essays. In all this was easier than AP World History (which I got a 4 on) so Iíll be irate if I didnít get a 5 on this.

AP Lang is Wednesday and AP Comparative Politics is Thursday. Iím nervous for the former but Iíve done well on mock exams while Iím woefully underprepared for the latter. I can probably just bank on recent events for some of it though.

AP Lang had a kind of hard multiple choice segment but the essays were fun. Iím likely to get at least a 4; hoping for a 5.

AP Comparative Politics is tomorrow. I will probably tank this one in all honesty.

Filled out the housing applications for Berkeley yesterday. One page asked me if I'd like to self-segregate into groups of blacks, gays, trannies, etc, where I could stay with "my own kind" and have little discussions about what it means to be oppressed. I said no. Then it asked me if I considered myself an "ally" who would be all right with being housed in one of these groups anyway. I had to say no again... but felt weird doing it.

The opposite of an ally is an enemy. I feel like they'll rescind my acceptance now.

Why'd you have to say no to the second part?  Didn't want to risk being put in a dorm with Flounder and having to smell аss and chips every day?

I don't want to interact with people who voluntarily self-segregate in order to purposely avoid hearing other perspectives.

so...then "yes" would be your answer to Bread's question then I suppose - since Flounder has done exactly that.

AP Comparative Politics was easier than I expected but the writing was dry. Anticipating at least a 4.

Finals for Math, Spanish, and Anatomy this coming week and Iíll be done with Junior year.

Those AP tests are the best. They give you a lot of college credit so you don't have to take stupid intro classes.

I have never had any interest in the opinions, interests, or perspectives of other people, as they relate to music or otherwise.

Just because I don't care about other people's opinions doesn't mean I'll bundle myself up in bubble wrap to protect myself from them. I'm enough of an adult to be exposed to them without crying about it.

No joke: if you guys actually don't see what I'm saying here, you're dumber than I ever imagined.

Because I don't care about other people's opinions, I have no need to segregate myself away from them. I don't fear what they have to say. It doesn't affect me. I don't lose sleep fretting over it. On the other hand, someone who does care about the opinions of others will try to surround themselves with "safe" and "friendly" opinions so they don't risk exposure to anything that goes against their worldview. You are operating off of the assumption that "care about" means "value and respect." My two statements were not contradictory; in fact, they are built off of the exact same thing.

I know this makes sense. You know it makes sense. It's up to you whether you want to acknowledge that or just keep posting the same gif over and over again.

Dude itís a joke. We know what you mean. Itís just the way both statements were worded originally that makes them seem contradictory.

All right. I figured that, but Paasche's comment seemed genuine. I just wanted to cut this off before I had another Logan debacle on my hands and I had to go to my safe space.

My comment was genuine; I understood what you were saying but how you said it was, in my opinion, contradictory nonetheless.
