But they're his least favorite directors of all time!   How would he know that without watching all of their films?

Caruso (Eagle Eye, Disturbia, I Am Number Four) from a screenplay written by John Brancato & Michael Ferris (Terminator Salvation, The Game), Chad St. John (The Punisher: Dirty Laundry, London Has Fallen), and F. Scott Frazier (The Numbers Station, Collide), based on characters created by Rich Wilkes (Airheads) and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Fantastic Four).

The film stars Vin Diesel (Pitch Black, The Iron Giant), Samuel L. Jackson (Marvel's The Avengers, Snakes on a Plane), Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Tony Jaa (Furious 7, The Protector), Toni Collette (The Way Way Back, Krampus), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries, The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black), UFC's Conor McGregor, Rory McCann (Slow West, Game of Thrones), and Kris Wu (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets).

Diesel also serves as producer on the film along with Neal H. Moritz (Fast & Furious, Total Recall) of Original Film, Joe Roth (Maleficent, Oz the Great and Powerful) and Jeff Kirschenbaum of Roth Kirschenbaum Films, and Samantha Vincent (Riddick). Diesel and Vincent produce through One Race Films. The newly resurrected Revolution Studios will also produce the film, with Paramount taking over as distributor from Sony and Columbia. Cinematography duties will be handled by Russell Carpenter (Ant-Man, Titanic, True Lies). The film will be released on January 20, 2017.
