Together at last.

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul is definitely the best in the prequels, but if we're doing all the movies, Luke vs. Vader in Empire takes the cake without competition.

Obi-Wan vs. Anakin

You consider this to be the best fight in the whole series?

Oh, good. I just combined the polls because apparently Jed doesn't know how to add new options.

Some are missing.
Kit Fisto and hundreds of other highly trained Jedi being used as cannon fodder against some wasps.
Kit Fisto battles Darth Sidious, featuring Mace Windu.
Anakin vs Centipedes.
Anakin vs Bedouins.
Anakin vs Saruman.
Star Wars Kid.

Yeah, fine, but at least that scene featured a villain whose motives we understood, and who... you know... spoke lines of dialogue.

The Maul fight was more about Obi Wan growing as a character.

But since we don't care about Qui-Gon, there's no emotional connection to the scene. His character is unbelievably boring. And the end of that scene still makes me laugh... Maul just stands there as Obi-Wan flips over him and slices him in half. Just terrible.

Seeing Liam Neeson die in any movie is sad.

Phantom Menace made me first realize that I was possibly confusing a decent actor with a great voice with a great actor.
