Like enjoying Age of Ultron but not Fant4stic. It does not compute.
Fant4stic was pretentious. Often, characters would talk things that sound smart, interesting, and thought-provoking, but then it goes nowhere.

Here's how I see it... let's use Donald Trump as a metaphor for this situation. Now, I've always known the Republican Party was stocked with a lot of colorful characters-- racists, sexists, neo-Nazis, KKK members, and Ben Carson. Those nitwits have voted in people like Strom Thurmond, Ted Cruz, and Scott Walker in the past. Now, suddenly, Donald Trump shows up and says all the stuff they've been thinking to themselves for years, and he's ostracized by the establishment. Why? This is the next logical step in the Republican Party.

It's the same thing with Fant4stic. Superhero fans stuck with Marvel and DC through MOS, BVS, Age of Ultron, and Thor. Now suddenly this is the movie that everyone attacks? It's such a weird about-face. I don't understand it. To me, there's virtually no difference between Fant4stic and, say, Daredevil. To me, it just further proves what I've been saying all along-- superhero movies suck balls. It's hardly surprising that this movie was the next step in superhero movie evolution. Why don't you guys love it?

Anyway, I'm sorry Fant4stic's dialogue couldn't reach such heights as "You're a monster Zod, and I'm gonna stop you." Truly... that was screenwriting genius.

I'm pretty sure the general public doesn't give a crap about Affleck's Daredevil anymore.

Whatever you say, John "Director's Cut: 10/10" Tyler...

Catwoman has to be number one, thanks for reminding me John, I had a tough decision until you reminded me that piece of shit exists.

Forgot about Spawn. That's probably the worst there is.

Gonna have to agree with Tatum on Spawn. Which is a shame, because it could make an awesome movie. And I'd like Michael Jai White to reprise his role.

Age of Ultron is fitting this category the more I think about it. It's moved its way from a 7/10 on first watch to a 4/10 now....

What, were you not impressed by genius dialogue like "Ultron cleared out... used the internet as an escape hatch"?

Ultron has probably drastically lowered to something like a 6/10 by now.  I can barely remember one thing from it.

If we're just talking MCU, then Ultron takes the cake for sure. But for superhero films in general, nothing comes close to Fant4stic.
