Kanye supporting Trump...
« on: April 26, 2018, 06:57:32 pm »
...watching the Republicans suddenly fall all over themselves to fawn over Kanye West simply because a popular celebrity finally said something nice about Trump is both hilarious and sad at the same time...

The same guys that called him a loser are calling him a genius now and the guys who thought he was a genius think he's a loser now.

I like his songs, though.

This is 100% accurate on ALL things BOTH Democrat and Republicans.  They are the exact same entity, just on each end of the spectrum.  It's hysterical watching them throw shade at each other when each side does the exact same thing.  On this issue, the Republicans look a little MORE stupid than the Democrats - but they aren't too far behind.

Iíve heard people speculate that this is a publicity stunt for whenever his next album drops. It would be funny if that were the case.

I would love that.  Would mean that Kayne is playing EVERYBODY on BOTH sides for a fool - which is all I can ask for in this world today.

For the record, I've always thought Kanye West was an artistically bankrupt tool.

I don't like Kanye the person - music isn't bad I don't think - but if he makes both sides look completely foolish, he's gotta move up a bit in my book.

Love his music and also love that he doesn't give a shit about what others think of him or his opinions and doesn't try to hide them to make himself look better.

I think his music is okay.  Don't like him as a person though.  Thought it was hysterical what South Park did to him.

He's definitely an arrogant asshole, but he's harmless. The fact that people are getting worked up by him is pretty pathetic.

People who subscribe to either political party are pretty pathetic - so this falls in line with that.

For the record, I still think he's a genius musically. Obviously don't agree with his Trump stance but that won't change my hype for June 1st.
