Once again - your partisan goggles have prevented you from reading what I actually wrote.  I'll make it easier for you:

"I generally prefer the more centrist of the candidate pool - unless someone really sticks out to me in a good or bad way."

There are 2 choices in this race.  Rick Scott or Bill Nelson.  Bill Nelson is horrible - meaning...he sticks out to me in a bad way.  So, by process of elimination, I am voting for Rick Scott.

Do you understand now?

I think he just found it funny that you said you support centrist candidates, right before you turned around and went for swamp-boy Scott over moderate Nelson.
Yeah this was the point I was getting at. Nelson is generally known as a moderate while Rick Scott placed a gag order on the phrases "climate change" and "global warming" within Florida's Department of Environmental Protection. Frankly, I look at something like this and all I see is a conservative (you) attempting to pass yourself as a centrist to somehow make your opinion be taken more seriously.

Says the extreme progressive trying to pass him off as anything but.  Again, you didn't read the part where I'm voting for Scott because of my disdain for Nelson.  But keep pushing the narrative you're trying to get across without any real evidence other than the fact that I'm voting against a Democrat that I really dislike.
I mean, Diego and I were both just pointing out that Nelson is widely accepted as a moderate while Scott is an insane person who doesn't believe in global warming. Furthermore, your reason for disliking the guy was that he didn't call some dude Muslim? What the fuck, who cares? That's the type of shit you usually don't care about since it's completely irrelevant to policy.

So you didn't read any part of his gun stance I pointed out, huh?  Go back and read what I wrote.  And "widely accepted" doesn't at all mean "accurate".  I live here.  He's not well liked for a reason.  And the Muslim thing runs a lot deeper than what you and Diego are trying to couch it as.  Beyond that, my original point was I usually gravitate towards the more center candidate unless someone sticks out in a really good or bad way FOR ME.  Nelson falls into the latter FOR ME.  If you can't accept that, then that is your problem.  Trying to paint me as a conservative when all evidence is to the contrary makes you look pretty foolish tbh.
I find it interesting that you've conveniently ignored everything about the person you're actually voting for, when Scott being a blithering moron has been the crux of what Tut and I have been saying this entire time. It's not a refusal to accept anything, it just appears (not necessarily that this is true though, since I'm not overwhelmingly familiar with either) that you're failing to consistently apply your own logic. I did note the gun thing, but if that's your main gripe with him (the ridiculous Muslim comment doesn't count) then Nelson seems pretty great...

Ah - so he's a "blithering moron" now.  I'm sure from your perspective he is - that doesn't surprise me one bit.  From my perspective he's a better option that Bill Nelson.  I don't see anywhere where you "note the gun thing".  And, again from your perspective, I'm sure you find that to be a minor point and that he's "pretty great".  This is all pretty expected from your position - it's who you are.
