I predict that no matter who dies, the franchise survives.

Can't be...they've advertised this as the movie that changes everything in Marvel Universe.  I'm assuming that means this is the end and they will absolutely stop making these films after this finale.  Right?

Look at the upcoming films list.  Not even close.

After watching Civil War tonight, I am leaning heavily towards Steve Rogers dying.  There were just too many subliminal shots of Bucky and the shield in the same frame.  Plus at the end Steve says to Stark "I'm never getting that shield back, am I?". Maybe some foreshadowing there.

88% on RT. A lot of the scores themselves are across the map though.

Edit: Certified fresh and down to 86%. This is probably going to land in GotG 2 Tomatometer territory.

69 on Metacritic which is par for course for a lot of their movies

My concerns are that the first 2 Avenger films sucked largely because they didn't know how to handle that many superheroes in the same movie.  They did better with Civil War, but I'm not convinced that wasn't an aberration.

Fair warning: If you don't want to be spoiled, stay off YouTube comment sections until you've seen the film.

Yeah I'm steering clear of all that.  I think we ALL HERE need to be mindful of putting the [spoiler end bracket around things related after we've seen the film.  We do a good job of that here for the most part though.

This reminds me of the time I was playing Smash Bros during the opening weekend of The Force Awakens, an on the Miiverse stage everyone plastered Hanís death on the messages that popped up during the fight. It was pretty funny (if only because I had already seen the film by then).

Technically I was spoiled by people who went to the screening on Thursday, though I shrugged it off untilthe sceneís set up made it obvious he would be a goner. One of my dadís coworkers spoiled it for him beforehand which lessened the experience for him.

I did prank spoil some of my friends before they went to see The Last Jedi, and they genuinely believed me. I am tempted to do the same for Infinity War.

Might as well - always good to fuck with someone if they are gullible enough to fall for it.

Depending on your source, this film might have leapfrogged The Force Awakens for largest domestic opening ever.

Depends on how it does on Sunday.  Not quite official yet.
