My reaction to you reusing this joke
I don't recall ever using it before...
Everything is terrible.

You don't remember your "My Reaction to Grown Ups 2" video?  Seriously?   Either you have awful memory or you're trying to hide the joke.

Obviously you do or else you wouldn't have used the same clip from the movie in the same fashion.  No one just uses a joke, forgets it, then reuses it without remembering the old joke.

Okay, now it's coming back to me. Anyway, that video was like 3 years ago, and on an old (and deleted) YouTube account.

Forget all that Fall Out Boy/Missy Elliott BS, here's an actual good cover of the Ghostbusters theme:

At 79% now. I'm now tentatively considering seeing this... sometime in the next 2 years.

Roger Ebert's ghost gave it a thumbs down, explaining "murphle whurf whurf foo un heff ftarph."
Harold Ramis' ghost dissed it, saying "I looked at the crap, Ray."
Ernie Hudson's ghost said, "I'm not dead yet! I'm just reduced to doing Jesus films, fer chrissakes!"

So Dylan has some strong thoughts on this reboot....

Btw, this Ghostbusters reboot is prime trolling material. Perhaps we can get some new members out of this.

Good luck. Still confused why he left. Didn't know he loved KinoPoisk so much.

You're wasting your time.  He specifically told me he's not coming back.  He's listed reasons that I won't go in depth on (both personal and how we handled that Aaron situation)

That's a shame. Is he aware of what KinoPoisk did once we banned him? Because I feel he might be less supportive of the guy if he knew....

Yeah tbh... Dylan has a point.  Not exactly that Sony handpicked viewers, but how does Rotten Tomatoes actually choose these critics?  I haven't heard of like 95% of the non-Top Critics.  Someone be sure to tell me.  I'll register to be one soon if anyone can.  :)

Also, Brendan just killed it

Didn't The Thing have like a 17% top critics score though?  Not saying Dylan's wrong, just bringing up something.

That's partially due to the fact that only 6 Top critics have reviews accounted for the Thing's tomatometer (and 50 total), whereas Ghostbusters has 20 Too Critic reviews and 79 reviews total. More reviews are accounted for recent movies because of their ability to find many of these reviews on the internet.

Plus, perceptions change, and those critics who slammed The Thing back in the day may harbor different feelings now.

Good post. A pity he's decided so severely against coming back. I also liked the Catbus concluding post on there.

Can someone explain gamer gate to me? I know it's been irrelevant for months, but I never understood what happened even while it was happening. I recall it had something to do with sexist neckbeards...

Not sure if it's even worth bothering. I remembering stumbling upon a group manifesto (or whatever that was) a while ago that outright said they shouldn't have defined goals as if that was something to be proud of, since they're not a movement but a "consumer revolt" and stating goals plays into the hands of the feminist elite conspiracy because it only lets them shift the goalposts or whatever. Unsurprisingly, that amorphous mass never lasted.

I suppose I should also mention it was mianly linked to by a forum of genuine neo-Nazis (even if they didn't call themselves that), who were all Gamergate, all fully Trump and all 1000% paranoid. That might be an extreme case, but pretty much all of Gamergate's "leaders" (the manifesto also said they shouldn't have any, but whatever) had comfortably transitioned into being Trump cheerleaders as soon as he emerged. That should probably be enough.
