Probably my favorite horror movie since The Witch. Toni Collette needs that Oscar now. I see what Bread means in that the story has some familiar/predictable elements, but the execution of it all yielded such a visceral reaction from me that I overlooked it. Definitely a contender for my favorite of the year, at either an A- or an A.

What were your favorite scene(s)?

Well, my favorite scene was the "shock" scene in the car (I don't want to give anything away).  But you know the scene I'm talking about.  I loved the ending.  Immediately thinking back afterwards, I love the scenes when she is in group therapy (there's A LOT of info revealed in those scenes).  There really weren't many scenes I didn't like.  Obviously, I thought it was far, far superior to The Witch in basically every aspect.  I'm hoping to see it again this weekend.
That’s definitely a highlight. I was also very partial to
Spoiler (hover to show)
. That was such a masterful display on Collette’s part, especially given her performance in the rest of the film. I did enjoy the ending even if it was more conventional than the rest of the film.

. Despite some of that being spoiled in the trailers, the scene was really intense. Plus, I think her initial reaction is what being in a nightmare is like.
