This will be a sweep.  Toronto is literally the softest team in the NBA.

You get mad props from me for this call, I really thought this would be a tight series with the Cavs taking it in 6/7.

I think Cavs in 6 over Boston.  Celtics won't roll over like a bunch of bitches like Toronto did.

Jazz just couldn't keep up with the injuries they sustained.  Rockets/Warriors should be a pretty epic series for the championship.

At the end of the day it seems like, barring injury, nobody has enough to beat Golden State 4 out of 7 games.

Their odds of taking the series have just shot up by 30%. They're now the favorites to win it all.

They were always the favorites.  Very few, including Vegas, thought Houston had much of a chance.  Warriors were heavy favorites going into the playoffs.

The Rockets put together a team specifically designed to beat the Warriors. They had (and continue to have) the highest Elo ranking in the league. Plus most sites I looked at gave them upwards of 65% chance of winning the series.

The issue with metrics like Elo is that they can't account for the Warriors not really giving a shit in the regular season. Like, the Cavs had a trash Elo rating last year but they still cruised to the finals because Lebron started trying. Regardless of what any rating says, the Warriors have the best collection of talent ever assembled and are favorites in any series going forward barring serious injury to Curry/KD.

None of this is to say that the Rockets are bad, I actually think they're a really good squad, but the Warriors are the best team of all time.

Elo ranking LOL - I love this new age "analytics tells the whole story" approach that has become the new fad in sports.  Sometimes, just sometimes, you watch a team and know who is better.  Vegas had the Warriors heavy favorites to not only beat the Rockets, but to win the championship...Elo rating aside.

I'd love to see Rockets vs Celtics tbh.  Just for something different.  AT LEAST want ONE of these teams to make it.  I probably wouldn't watch another Warriors vs Cavs series - there is no interest in that for me.
