Go Trojans!

All day long, baby.

Nice! I'm a USC fan as well.

Seriously?  I grew up a Trojans fan from 4 years old.  My entire family was made up of UCLA and Cal alum, so I went the complete opposite direction and pissed them all off.  Made my mom paint my face Cardinal and Gold when we went to a Cal game when I was 5.

Yeah, I've been a fan pretty much my whole life even though I've got no family connection. I'm also hoping I can go to college there.

Yeah, I really doubt I'll go there, considering I live in NY and USC is so expensive, but I think I've got the grades and it would be my top choice.

I don't think out of state matters when it comes to USC.  I ended going to UC Santa Barbara because they had a Division III football team which didn't preclude me from rooting for USC in any way.  Plus being "in state" was really cheap there at the time...

My mom is a USC alum, so she passed it down to me. I hope to go to their film school.

Well it doesn't really matter in terms of getting in as it would at a UNC or a UVA but the in-state discount means a lot considering how expensive it would be for someone coming from out of state like me.

Are you sure there is an in-state discount at USC?

I don't think there is an official discount but from what I've heard it is much easier to receive some sort of financial aid if you are from California.

This is very true.....

USC is my top choice as well, though there's a less than 10% chance I can get in. Chapman and LMU are more realistic, but even that's a stretch.

I got into all schools I applied to except Stanford.  Accepted to USC, Cal, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, and Penn.  Couldn't afford USC or Penn because I didn't get any scholarship help.  Picked Santa Barbara over the others because I wanted to be in So. Cal over Nor Cal...
