Rotten Tomatoes' "Best horror films by year" list

What do you guys think?

I think it's pretty solid...up until the 90's.  Then it goes way downhill.

Land of the Dead is seriously the best reviewed horror film of 2005? Christ.

Ward, I think you were being a little hard on the beaver. So was Eddie Haskell, wally, and Ms. Cleaver.

Dog Soldiers deserved the 2002 title. But it just doesn't have enough reviews to allow it to be the winner, which sucks. Still though, I love The Ring too.

Back to what I said about 2005, I wish Devil's Rejects got the win. And people's opinions on it have been more and more positive over the years since it was released. It's so much better than Land of the Dead.

Dude...Hostel.  Also I think Wolf Creek was much better than both of those.

Wolf Creek was ass.  Hostel was awesome.  The Devils Rejects was a Quentin Tarantino rip off, but was awesome.  Land of the Dead was ass.

Hostel came out here in 2006, I think. Google says 2005, but it didn't get a US theatrical release until Jan. 2006. But if we are going by the 2005 date, yes, it is the most deserving. And I didn't really like Wolf Creek. But it needs a rewatch.

I got as far as 1982, then tossed my monitor at the cat. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Poltergeist - but COME ON.

The Thing gets my vote for that year. But I know that it wasn't favored by critics. I believe it has a rotten score by top critics amazingly.

This comment is so retarded that it makes sense.

Also, the Thing is great and all, but did we all forget that Friday the 13th Part III came out as well?
