Ohhh, I forgot to talk about this.

The Hardhome Massacre was fantastic. That whole section of the episode was just so f*cking great. It was scary, exhilarating, and seriously intense. (I'm talking Whiplash levels of intense) Kudos to the director. Such a great scene/sequence.

My thoughts exactly. That director is doing episodes 9 & 10 for season 6. Rumor has it another White Walker sequence is gonna happen.....

Man, I am looking forward to that. I really hope it is of the same caliber as Hardhome, or exceeds it.

He's actually younger than Gemma Whelan, who plays Asha (oops, "Yara"), his niece. He does look very similar to Alfie Allen though.

Hmmm.....maybe Euron will be Theon's cousin in the show? Idk. Whatever the case, I hope they connect it to what Victarion is doing in the books.

I could definitely see that happening. As for Victarion, I'm not really sure what he's doing as I'm only halfway through ADWD. He hasn't appeared yet, although I hope he does. He was definitely one of my favorite POV characters in AFFC.

Dickon Tarly cast!

Not huge news, but still cool to get confirmation that Sam's family will be featured next season. Now we wait for Randyll.....

Perhaps he's playing a new character altogether? Not sure at this point. Only existing character I could think for him to be is Septon Meribald, but I'm not sure his "big player" role would fit that.

Most everyone over at WotW says Meribald, and I suppose I could see that happening, but doesn't it seem like someone as minor as Meribald would be omitted from the show? Another thing I saw was a Meribald/Elder Brother combo. I suppose that would make more sense. Or a new character. I just want Stannis to live!

Yeah, I don't see Meribald being a huge character either, and that information coupled by the secrecy surrounding his role could mean he's some new guy in TWOW. And yes, as much as I doubt it, Stannis needs to live! One of my favorite characters.
