What's a bigger priority to see right now: Darkest Hour or All the Money in the World?

Both are great, but All the Money in the World is slightly better, imo.
Everything is terrible.

It's an okay film. Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba are great in it. I'm just tired of the way Sorkin writes all of his characters. It's like no matter their level of education or their occupation, they all talk like Harvard-graduate West Wing staffers. Every single character is, in some way, Sorkin himself.

Got a ticket for a theatrical screening of The Room, which I'll be going to tomorrow night. Hoping to also catch Phantom Thread this weekend.

Damn, I'm jealous that you get to see The Room in a theater, definitely an experience I want to have at some point in my life.

Yeah, I was surprised that the theater was actually going through with a screening so I'm pretty excited at the opportunity. Not sure whether I should bring props/dress up as a character like most people at the screenings do. Given the materials I have at home I could potentially dress as Johnny or Chris R.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts. I wasn't particularly big on it but Moody's war against the film is a bit excessive.

I get that you picked a film out of a hat to hate on so you wouldn't look like a Tomatometer panderer, but you could've at least seen it before rating it.

I did.  I thought it was bad.  That is my final opinion on it.
Goodbye!

I was about to see this one but it's out on DVD on Tuesday so I'll be saving a few bucks and renting it then.
