I'm going to finally try sitting down and watching Blade Runner, so I figured I'd ask you guys which version I should go with.

If you plan on seeing the sequel you should probably go with the Final Cut, as per the advice of Denis Villenueve. I happen to love that version myself even if it strips the film of some ambiguity.

The Final Cut is a must.
Everything is terrible.

I've only seen the Director's Cut so keeping that in mind, I'd advise going with anything that isn't that.

Did any of you guys see Blade Runner 2049 in 3D? If so, is it worth it to spend the extra dollars?

Tonight I may be joining some friends to watch Blade Runner 2049 again. They haven't seen it but both really liked the first so I'll be interested to see what they think.

The local independent theater is playing Lucky, Loving Vincent, and Columbus this weekend, all of which seem intriguing. However, I don't know if I should prioritize one of those films or let my morbid curiosity win over and watch The Snowman instead, assuming I can't make time for multiple theater trips across the weekend.

I heard Columbus is really good. And the story behind the director is interesting.

Yeah, it seemed interesting from the trailers, but it only has one showtime at the theater so it'd be a bit harder to plan for.

I'm probably going to end up watching Loving Vincent today and maybe try to catch Columbus later in the weekend if I have time.

I also rented that Russian Guardians movie on Redbox today, which I intend to watch sometime over the weekend.

Probably watching this tonight. Should I go with the English or Russian dub for the best experience?

John, since you are the only person currently online who's seen the film would you mind telling me which dub you watched?

Edit: Fine then. Going with Russian dub then.

My memory is pretty spotty (I've honestly forgotten all about that movie), but I think I watched the Russian dub.

I tried to see Suburbicon tonight, but certain complications prevented me from doing so.  Oh well.

The subtitles are hilariously incomprehensible.

Well, I ended up watching it when it was at Redbox so it didn't have terrible subtitles. It didn't help that all the shlock was in the trailers.
