First anticipated movie of 2018.
I was about to ask you about Isle of Dogs but I realized it came out a couple weeks after this anyway. But yeah, this does look intriguing.

This looks too indulgent for its own good. The trailer could've used a bit more restraint in terms of showing spoiler-y footage too.

Looks good.

Also nothing in that trailer was spoiler-y.  Unless you mean Goldblum showing up, which I wouldn’t classify as a spoiler.
Goodbye!

I was referring more to the Deus Rex Machina, but I suppose it was pretty benign by modern standards. I won't be surprised if Ian Malcolm is going to be relegated to just that scene.

Really looking forward to this one thanks to J.A. Bayona’s involvement.

This looks fucking stupid.

And I’m struggling to decide whether that’s a good thing or bad thing.

I'll watch anything from the director of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.

I remember a time when Robert Rodriguez was a respectable director with films like Desperado, Spy Kids, From Dusk Till Dawn and the Grindhouse film.  It all went downhill after Machete.

it's the sequel to Big Eyes.  It's got Christoph Waltz and everything

It looks like live-action anime.

Straight up, I loved that film when I was about 6.

I gotta admit, it was kind of surreal watching this trailer. It's a Robert Rodriguez film and yet it's shot in widescreen and it looks expensive.

This will be the Valerian of 2018; thus, I'm kind of curious but I won't be surprised if/when it bombs.
