Watched A Few Good Men tonight. I really need to just see everything Sorkin's ever written, the guy's amazing (helps that Cruise and Nicholson are awesome too).

Nah, I'd like to but that show's 7 seasons of 20+ episodes each.

It's a great series. Actually one of my parents' favorite shows.
Everything is terrible.

It's not exactly my favorite show, but I think you might like it. It's all about government's power to do good, and it's very optimistic.

I definitely think I'd enjoy it. It's just that it takes me such a long time to watch a lengthy show like that- hell, I started The Sopranos a month ago and I doubt I'll be finished before Thanksgiving and that's only 13 episodes a season. It's just tough for me to commit to that much time when there are so many shows I want to watch.

Katherine Heigl as an ice-cold villainess has to be one of the worst casting decisions in years.
Everything is terrible.

Are you high?  That was easily the only redeemable aspect of the movie.

She was fucking awful. She aims for ice-cold, manipulative. and calculating but does that terribly, and for the few (and far between) times where she does go campy, it's not even the entertaining kind, it's the cringey kind, and when you can't even do that right, you need to fucking give up.
Everything is terrible.

The Vanishing (1993): 4/10

As a standalone film, it's okay, I guess. As a remake... just no.
Everything is terrible.

Also, wrong. Rosario Dawson is the only redeemable aspect. Her performance was actually good, unlike that cheap joke of a villainous turn Heigl gave.
Everything is terrible.

But 2/10 level?  The film wasn't that bad.  He's just being extra.  I'd mark the film around the Hangover.  Mediocre.  Not really funny and pretty dumb.  5/10
goodbye!
