Cars 3 is the best movie of the year.

It was good.  Probably wouldn't go that far though.
Goodbye!

The top ten of my 2016 standings list has gotten a late addition. Just saw The Salesman and thought it was pretty fantastic.
Great film. Is this your first Farhadi film?

Indeed it is. I might see A Separation sometime as well if I can get it from Netflix.
I'd definitely recommend that one next. It's emotionally draining and very well acted but after The Salesman that's probably what you expected.

I myself am trying to look for About Elly next in his filmography.

Also, I'm pretty confident in considering John Wick 2 to be better than the first. I enjoyed the World building, the action sequences essentially top the night club scene from the original, and that ending is a nigh-perfect sequel hook. I'm settling on an A- once again.

I could have watched another hour of this one. It's likely topping my best of 2017 list.

I haven't. The first trailer was awesome but the ones that followed it caused me to lose interest.

I thought professional film critics see every film ever made.  Just look at John.  I might have to reconsider my subscriptions.

I myself am torn between giving this or Colossal the edge for the top of my 2017 rankings thus far too. I had an blast with it, and I'm considerably excited for Chapter 3.

I've seen 34 films so far this year and John still somehow manages to make that sound like light work.
