Sometimes I find myself unsure over whether this is worse than The Phantom Menace or not. That said, I don't think it's as boring as its predecessor though.

Seven Psychopaths wasn't quite as good as I remembered, but still a quality film with some hilarious scenes. Sam Rockwell's fucking amazing in it though.

Dylan, do you have a Letterboxd account? If not, you should make one. It can be very useful for keeping track of what you've seen. Plus you've got at least 14 people who'll follow you right off the bat.

Dang. I was sure A Bad Moms' Christmas had the top spot in the bag.

In all seriousness, I appreciate the praise for John Wick 2, Detroit, The Big Sick, and Three Billboards. I'm glad there are others who found Logan to be kind of overrated too. Lady Bird, Wind River, and Dunkirk are too low but I'm not too surprised with the latter given your distaste for Nolan.

I still don't understand the appeal for Free Fire or Atomic Blonde. I found it rather hard to be invested in either after a while. Valerian is disappointing since it has a lot going for it but the script makes it such a mixed bag overall. Beauty and the Beast is a bit too high but it's well made. I maintain that Emma Watson was miscast though. I can see why Hidden Figures clicked with people but I thought it was mediocre, and easily the least qualified of the Best Picture nominees last year.

I'm pretty surprised at A Monster Calls' surprisingly low score. I myself wasn't a fan of it but I think it got better as it went along (though it screwed up the chance to have a perfect final shot). What was so problematic that warranted a score that severe?
