I have recently reviewed on Letterboxd ENEMY OF THE STATE (https://letterboxd.com/oldeststreamer/film/enemy-of-the-state) and MAN ON FIRE (https://letterboxd.com/oldeststreamer/film/man-on-fire-2004/) which along with the ever watchable TRUE ROMANCE in my mind beat almost any of Ridley Scott's work - although I did enjoy THE MARTIAN (https://letterboxd.com/oldeststreamer/film/the-martian) so now over to you

Yeah, as much as I like Tony Scott, I have to agree with this. He never made a movie as good as Alien... although, if we're talking about overall quality, Tony might have it over Ridley these days (Exodus: Gods and Kings).

I've rewatched True Romance more than all of Ridley's works put together.

I think Ridley's a better director, but when it comes to putting out more good films than bad films, Tony beats him.
