Origins: + (the best shittiest film ever made)
One of the worst comic book films I've ever seen.

It's better than most of the Marvel films I've seen.

Origins > The Avengers
The Avengers actually had interesting, well-defined characters and a coherent plot.
Everything is terrible.

Change my - for Apocalypse to a +.

Cutler, how long did you say this would take again?

I never gave a specific time, but I knew it would happen gradually.

The one I really didn't expect was Batman vs. Superman going from a 3/10 to an 8/10 on like 9 rewatches.
goodbye!

The BvS theatrical cut is a 3.

The BvS extended cut was first a 6 and now an 8.

How long do I have to keep explaining this?
Everything is terrible.

How does a few extra scenes of cg blood make a film go from dogshit to near great?

Yeah, but The Avengers didn't have this scene:

The Ultimate Cut simply delivered more of what I wanted it to deliver on in the first place. Clearer motives for why Batman and Superman are at odds against one another, Lex Luthor's plan also made more clear, Lois Lane actually being important to the story, et cetera.
Everything is terrible.

That scene makes me cringe whenever I think about it. His claws looked better in the first X-Men, which was made nearly a decade before this one. It amazes me how badly Origins fucked up.

No one's gonna make fun of you for liking the original cut, John.  We're accepting people.  We let Danny live on here.

They literally added in an entire storyline with character development for Clark Kent.

From what I saw, there was cg blood and some black lady getting pushed in front of a train.  8/10 film.

I'm having a tough time trying to buy into this bullshit.  You tellin' me in 25 minutes, they were able to "Clearer motives for why Batman and Superman are at odds against one another, Lex Luthor's plan also made more clear, Lois Lane actually being important to the story, et cetera." Add in a black lady getting pushed in a truck and a new storyline?

Believe it or not, yes to all three of those.

Honestly I kinda enjoyed it. I mean, it was probably bad, I just enjoy watching Spider-Man films. Probably a 5/10 from what I remember.

You're seriously depleting the good vibes you accumulated from me during the Rogue One debacle...

+ for Logan

Also, I love how much higher the percentage for Apocalypse is here in comparison to RT.

I'd be willing to rewatch TASM 2 to see if I really missed the boat on its badness the first time.

But hey, at least our awards had a decent amount of overlap.

That they did. Same actor/actress and everything. That might've ruined my chances of predicting them correctly, because I didn't expect us to agree down to the winner, but it made me happy nonetheless.
