Best King Kong movie I've seen tbh.  I always lost interest when they brought him back to the states - that's where the story always flat-lined for me.  I like that this one kept everything on the island and was more of a true monster movie than the others.  Yes, I realize the original was a "classic" and I was fine with it; but I was never a real King Kong enthusiast and I found this particular version to be much more entertaining.  Plus, John C. Reilly always seems to improve a movie for me - and this was no different.

Kong Skull Island should be a test everyone should take before being registered as a voter.  Those who liked the film should be failed immediately and should have their citizenship revoked.
