Proud to say I havenít none of these that arenít mother!, Alien covfefe, A Cure for Wellness, and perhaps Valerian. (though Iíve seen clips and they are far from promising)

As for KONG: Skull Island though, itís a +.

Added Kong: Skull Island since it'd make for a fun consensus (although it's not technically a critical or financial turkey so to speak).

Kong = 7.5/10

Have you submitted your scores the other 2017 consensus threads yet? I'm not sure if you've seen any of the Best Picture nominees but there are certainly films you could add your scores to the other consensus thread (i.e. John Wick and Blade Runner).

Kong: Skull Island is a solid 6.5/10 honestly.

The boy sees about eight films a year and half of those are superhero movies. It makes sense that he would like Kong. Paasche and Dylan, however, have no excuse.

Best King Kong movie I've seen tbh.  I always lost interest when they brought him back to the states - that's where the story always flat-lined for me.  I like that this one kept everything on the island and was more of a true monster movie than the others.  Yes, I realize the original was a "classic" and I was fine with it; but I was never a real King Kong enthusiast and I found this particular version to be much more entertaining.  Plus, John C. Reilly always seems to improve a movie for me - and this was no different.

Kong Skull Island should be a test everyone should take before being registered as a voter.  Those who liked the film should be failed immediately and should have their citizenship revoked.

I've never cared about Kong either, but that movie had such a crippling case of ADHD I could barely look at the screen. It literally felt like the storyboard was created by six-year-olds playing with action figures. Reilly was the one saving grace, but in practically every other respect it was no different from a Transformers movie.

Funny you say that, considering the only superhero film Iíve seen this year is Wonder Woman. And that was just to pass the time while I was in Korea.

LOL - obviously we'll completely disagree on that - but nice subtle try...

Kong: 7/10
Alien Covenant: 5.5/10

Funny how I managed to give a better overall consensus to these "turkeys" than both the oscar noms and the "acclaimed" 2017 films..
