Tanny, if you rewatch the original Indy trilogy, I'll rewatch LOTR.
No point, because I know you'll still dislike them. But I plan on watching the Indy films soon. In fact, I'll just put them at the top of my Netflix disc queue right now.

Don't be so sure. I have gained a lot of newfound respect for Tolkien recently. And after seeing Fellowship again, I can safely say that I enjoy it a lot. But if you do want to see Indy again anyway, you can pretty much skip Temple of Doom if you don't want to watch three of them in a row. For completist purposes, it's necessary... but then again, so is Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and nobody's telling you to see that.

Okay then. Deal. I should be getting the first two Indy films in a few days, so I'll let you know after I watch them. Then you can watch Two Towers and Return of the King. I recommend the Extended Editions, but if you're low on free time, the theatrical cuts will do.

I actually own the movies in a box set. My mom hates them, but I'm sure I can convince my dad to sit down for a few hours with 'em. If not, I'll just watch them late at night.

Take your time if you need to. I personally don't like to do it, but you can watch 'em in chunks. That's like, eight hours of content.

Conversation with my mom just now:

"Hey, when are we gonna rewatch the Lord of the Rings movies?"

"Hmm..."

"I mean, we saw the first one fairly recently, so we don't need to watch that again."

"Yeah, and we saw the other two at some point in our lives, so we don't need to see those either!"

Looks like it's just gonna be me and my dad.

[My own mother watches Lord of the Rings exclusively. Pretty much nothing else.]

Me: Hey mom, wanna watch Lord of the Rings?
Mom: What's that?

Me: Hey dad, when you get home from picking up the groceries,  can we watch Lord of the Rings?
Dad:

Force Awakens...eh, I'm gonna abstain from this one actually.
Don't hold back, Paasche.  We both know TFA deserves to be rotten.
I gave it a positive score, so it feels wrong to give it a minus. But at the same time, whatever score it ends up getting will definitely be too high so I don't want to contribute to that either.

I will abstain from Attack of the Clones since that was the only Star Wars movie I didn't rewatch prior to The Force Awakens.
The rest of the Star Wars movies get a +.

Raiders also gets a +. I have not seen Temple of Doom or Last Crusade yet, and I intend on skipping Crystal Skull.

I gave How To Train Your Dragon a low 6/10, but I still gave it a + and contributed to its 100%. That's just how the consensus works.

6/10 are borderline +/- for me because when we started these we kinda talked about using the RT grade scale as a guideline - and for them 59% is rotten and 60% is fresh.  So, for me, anything 6.5/10 and above is automatic +, and anything 5.5/10 and below is automatic -.  Anything I give a 6/10 is more of a judgment call for me (like Attack of the Clones)...
