BEST DIRECTOR: George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road)

With Mad Max: Fury Road, George Miller has crafted one of the finest action films I've ever seen. Every moment is exciting and beautifully told, and Miller's work here has shown just how incredible blockbuster films have the possibility to be.

And finally.....

BEST PICTURE: Ex Machina

I find it hard to explain how much I love this little sci-fi film. The acting, the direction, the writing; everything is just so perfect. It's funny, thought-provoking, and even frightening at times. Probably my favorite film since last year's Birdman.

Went 15/21, missed the three categories I didn't really have a clue about: pleasant surprise, biggest disappointment and best scene. I actually did really well with the traditional categories though- only missed actor and film.

So...does this mean that I recommend a film for Tatum?

I doubt you have that much exposure to Studio Ghibli (as far as I know it's just Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke), so I will recommend The Tale of The Princess Kaguya to you. It's probably not for everyone, but I found it to be a very charming little movie.
