Interactive Fiction thread
« on: May 19, 2018, 04:26:42 pm »
Should be pretty self-explanatory. If it isn't; this is about word-based games, from visual novels to pure text adventures, to weirder experiments like The Silent Conversation I once made Raynor play.

Thread prompted when I stumbled upon this: the so-called Galatea is a modern rendition of the Pygmalion legend, and is all about trying to converse with said animate statue. It's brief (it took me about 10 minutes to get an ending, and I suspect repeating a certain choice could have gotten it almost immediately for me.), but apparently there are 70 of them in total. I hope people here try it, simply because I am interested in the endings you would get.

There's also Nobody has to die, which is quite famous, and someone here may have played it already. It's interactive in a different way, and is so is much easier to finish, and it's a really interesting little story.

This is not nearly as self-explanatory as you think.
