I'm not really old, but my sisters are much older than me so I grew up playing with the gameboy pocket, it didn't even have color. I've still got it and all of the old pokemon games. Things were far more simple back then.
The handheld I have the most admiration for is the GameBoy Advance. Great times were had with that thing. I'm talking all nighters fueled by soda and candy playing Pokemon Ruby and Saphhire/FireRed and LeafGreen.
Ruby and Sapphire is probably my favorite generation of Pokemon. I wish my GBA still worked: the battery died. Maybe I can try to get a new one some day.

Just get a 3DS and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Omega Ruby. Great remakes.

Tanny - I may be getting a Wii U in the next week or so - waiting for another "special" to come up where it's $259 with Super Mario 3D and Nintendo Land included.  Those are coming up about once a week.

How do you like it?  And what is SSB4?  I've just gotten a little tired with all the FPS games I play which is the majority of XBox/PS games at this point.  So, I thought I'd change it up because the Wii tends to have totally different games.  Not sure about the big square pad though - I will probably get one of those Pro Controllers.

Super Smash Brothers 4. And the Wii U is ok. I liked the original Wii better.

Why?  I have the original Wii so I want to know what I'm getting into.  I loved Mario Kart 7 - is the new one as good or better?

So what do ya'll think of Universal teaming with Nintendo for their theme parks? Here's to hoping for a Mario Kart ride!

That'd be cool. I know they'll have something Zelda themed. I just wonder what it'll be.

Are you serious? I want Mario Kart, a high adrenaline F-Zero ride, and a section of the park devoted to Zelda. And John's Star Fox ride would be cool, too.

Anyway, does anyone have SSB4 and gotten Mewtwo yet? I have. He's kind of slow, but his attacks are pretty powerful. I hear that he's better than he was in Melee (Never played it, so I must hold my peace).

He's pretty fun to use in this new one. His air attacks are pretty solid.

He had the best grab moves in the entire game in melee.  Haven't even seen a Wii U yet so I don't know what the new game is like, but he'll be the first one I play if I ever try it.

You'll have to buy him on the e-Shop if you do. It costs 4 bucks for one system and five if you have both a Wii U and a 3DS and want to use him in both, assuming you use the same Network ID account for both systems.

None of this would be up to me anyways.  I doubt I'm ever going to buy a Wii U.
